
This 12-week course exposes students to Remote Pilot Aircraft operations. Students will develop the skills and knowledge required to pilot and manage small unmanned aerial systems for commercial purposes. Students will learn the fundamentals of aerodynamics, FAA regulations, aviation operations, aviation weather, airspace, aeronautical charts, aeronautical decision-making, aeromedical factors, aviation maintenance, and inspections. Students 16 years and older may be prepared to take the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate Exam upon completing this course.
